Here's why.
Hey friend! Jordan Raynor here.
When I wrote my book Called to Create, I was running a consulting practice called Vocreo, LLC. To this day, most everything I do flows through that LLC even though we do business publicly as "Jordan Raynor & Company."
Because I stopped using the Vocreo brand years ago I chose to not renew the domain name vocreo.com. That turned out to be a terrible decision because somebody bought the domain name and began using it to host pornography. I have made every attempt to repurchase the domain, but the current owner is unwilling to part with it.
So, this warning is the best I can do: If you’re reading Called to Create and are searching for information on Vocreo, please do not click on vocreo.com!
And pro tip: If you ever talk about a brand publicly, never give up your domain names associated with that brand. :)
