Does Money Even Matter in Elections Anymore?

That's the question Patrick Ruffini, the brilliant online Republican political strategist, asks in this fantastic blog post he published last night examining the results of the Virginia Democratic Gubernatorial Primary. The most entertaining part of the post has to be this video showing just a portion of the 25,000 signs extending 20 miles that the McAuliffe campaign erected just before the election. Brian Moran, one of McAuliffe's challengers said in response to the signs, "It goes to show, if you have too much money, you waste it.''
