My new venture

Below you will find a press release announcing the launch of a new media consulting firm I am now involved with – NetPower Strategy. I am joining up with a great team (including my current boss at Sayfie Media, Justin Sayfie) to help provide Republican campaigns with the cutting edge online strategies they need to win in 2010 and beyond. I am very excited about this opportunity as I believe we need more people on the right who “get” the internet and are willing to invest in candidates who want to do it right.

I invite you to take a look at our site and the things we are doing at NetPower.

Leading Republicans Meet at the Intersection of Politics & Technology
Musser, Sayfie and Everett bring decades of experience together to form NetPower Strategy

Phil Musser, Justin Sayfie and Max Everett have joined forces to combine their experience in managing winning campaigns and successfully executing new media practices to form NetPower Strategy - a new media consulting firm at the forefront of the intersection between politics and technology. NetPower Strategy will provide turn-key new media solutions for political, corporate and issue advocacy campaigns.

“After the 2008 election cycle, Republican campaigns realize they need to harness the power of the internet and technology to win elections, but few know how to do it,” says Phil Musser, Principal of NetPower Strategy. “NetPower Strategy will deliver our clients strategies and tactics that will multiply the effectiveness of any campaign’s plan for victory.”

Musser and Sayfie were co-founders of RebuildTheParty.com, an effort initiated after the November 2008 elections which garnered the support of over 10,000 Republican activists online and 5 of 6 candidates for RNC Chairman, including Chairman Michael Steele. Everett is recognized as one of the leading technologists in the Republican Party, having served in top roles in both government and in a national campaign environment.

“Our team brings a unique combination of expertise in campaign management and communications, digital strategy, and technology implementation from the highest levels of political campaigns, government and the private sector,” says Justin Sayfie, Principal of NetPower Strategy. “Our rare blend of experience will provide our clients with the cutting-edge strategies they need to meet and exceed their expectations and goals.”

Phil Musser will serve as Principal for NetPower Strategy. Musser is the President of New Frontier Strategy, a firm he founded in 2007 that specializes in political consulting, corporate communication, and new media strategy. He also serves as a co-founder and treasurer of RebuildTheParty.com. Previously, Musser has served as the Executive Director of the Republican Governors Association, and as senior advisor to a wide variety of current and former Governors including Bobby Jindal (R-LA), Mitt Romney (R-MA), and Matt Blunt (R-MO). In 2008, SayfieReview.com was awarded the first-ever ITFlorida Award for Excellence in Web 2.0 for the site’s use of Web 2.0 features and social networking. In 2009, Sayfie, also a co-founding member of RebuildTheParty.com, served as the strategist for the successful online campaign for current Republican National Committee Secretary, Sharon Day. Sayfie previously served as Communications Director and senior policy advisor to former Florida Governor Jeb Bush where he was responsible for the development and launch of MyFlorida.com and the Governor’s site, FLGov.com.
